We are pleased to present a double exhibition at the Galleria Traghetto Venice:

For Matt McClune art is connected to place where it originates. Art is localized. And that is different from abstract art as a world language. His pictures are more or less materialized coloured light. This is why he experiments with various colour-bearing media in order to see how the colour is changed by the material used.

In this third exhibition by Galleria Traghetto Elena Monzo added to her gallery of images of perturbing and sensual female figures, new impudent and trasgressive figures, victims of fashion industry, prisoners of a life dedicated to glossy magazines and skin-deep entertainment. The mix of papiers découpés, inserts made with different materials and consistency, paper and drawings describe a phantasmagorical and sometimes fluorescent universe, where flat and two-dimensional figures seem to stand out.
